Share sensitive files, safely.
You can now share files from the file browser with end-to-end encryption. Files are encrypted server-side with a unique key per share - encrypted in 5MB chunks, so even very large files are handled efficiently with no size limit. Pick an expiry, and you've got a secure link ready to send.
Control exactly who gets in.
Restrict a link to specific email addresses and each recipient verifies with a one-time code before they can download. Toggle "Download once" and the file can be downloaded a single time - for email-restricted shares, each recipient gets their own single download, so one person downloading doesn't lock everyone else out. Perfect for contracts, proposals and anything confidential.
See everything, revoke anything.
The new My Shares panel lets you see every file you've shared, filter by status or access type, search by filename, and revoke any share instantly. Revoking deletes the encrypted copy - no going back. The share page itself is fully branded with your organisation's logo and colours, so recipients always know who it's from.
Where your files live.
Shared files come from the same file browser used everywhere else in Clockwork CRM - contacts, cases and projects all use it - with a familiar folder structure and drag and drop support. Keep personal files in your private area where only you can see them, share with colleagues through the shared section, and set permissions on folders to control who has access.
Preview and version history.
Preview pictures, documents, spreadsheets and text files straight from the browser without downloading them, and upload a new version of an existing file without losing the original. Version history gives you a safety net on every document - which matters most on exactly the sort of file you'd want to share securely in the first place.

All data and files are stored and backed up on UK-based Microsoft Azure servers, encrypted at rest and in transit.
