Custom fields and advanced search for project tasks.
Define your own task properties per project or universally, then filter on them with a powerful per-project task search.
Tasks, shaped around your work.
Custom fields have arrived for project tasks. Define your own task properties - text, number, currency, date, checkbox, select, multi-select, user, person, company and more - either scoped to a single project or shared across every project. Make them required, set defaults, reorder them with drag-and-drop, and they flow straight through to the task editor, summaries, the kanban add flow, the gantt timeline and exports.
A search that knows where you are.
The Detail Search button is now context-aware. Outside a project it searches projects, as it always has; inside a project it switches to a powerful task search, scoped to that project automatically. Filter across every standard field and your custom fields, save your filters for later, and double-click a result to open the task. Results export to CSV, Excel or PDF with whichever columns you choose.
Ready for developers and AI.
There's also a new public API endpoint for listing and filtering project tasks - including custom-field predicates - which mirrors the Cases list API and is reachable by any AI assistant connected through MCP.
Filters worth keeping.
Filter tasks by due date, created date, assigned users, tags, completion status and whether you're following a task, then save any combination as a preset to come back to later. Your custom fields sit alongside the standard ones, so a filter can be as specific as your process needs it to be.
Everywhere you already work.
Fields you define flow into the task editor, task summaries, the kanban board, the Gantt timeline and your exports, so a field created once turns up wherever you manage the work rather than in one screen only. Time tracking, cost calculation and the task audit trail carry on exactly as before.
Your own list, your own order.
My tasks still gathers everything assigned to you across every project into one personalised list, and you can drag to reorder it by your own priority. That ordering is yours alone - it doesn't affect anyone else.
