Every database picks up duplicates over time, so we've made them easy to sort out. The new Find Duplicates page groups together the people and companies that look like the same record - matching on a shared phone number, a shared email address, or a similar name - and tells you exactly why each group was matched.
Merge with confidence.
Review a duplicate set side by side, choose which record to keep, and decide field by field which details win where they differ. The record you keep holds on to everything - notes, tags, emails, calls, sales, cases and more all move across automatically - and you can see exactly how many related records will move before you commit. Merging is permanent, so we confirm it clearly first, and every merge is recorded in the surviving contact's history.
It keeps getting cleaner.
If two records only look alike, mark them as Not Duplicates and they'll stop appearing in future scans. Finishing an import warns you if it created possible duplicates, and a nightly background scan lets your reviewers know whenever new ones appear - both linking straight to the Find Duplicates page.
